BYHA will be verifying that registered players are eligible to participate and play with BYHA.
To request a Waive-Up to an older level of play, you must first review the BYHA Policy for eligibility. If eligible, next you will need to register according to the MN Hockey Age Charts as you would without a Waive-Up.
If your birth-date falls within the Mites/8U age group and your interested in waiving up to the Squirt/10U level, you must complete the In-House Registration and indicate you are electing to request a Waive-Up.
Traveling aged players must also register at the levels according to the MN Hockey Age Chart before requesting a Waive-Up to an older level.
Once the winter program registration is complete and submitted, a Waive-Up Request registration needs to be filled out with the link found to the right.
All Waive-Up requests must have one parent attend the BYHA Board Meeting on Monday, Aug 19th, 2024 to present your reasoning for your Waive-Up request and answer any questions.
All players should attend the Traveling Pre-Skate sessions for the level they are registered for. If a Waive-Up is approved, your registration will be moved to the approved level.
In-House players who are granted a Waive-Up will have their In-House Registration refunded and will be required to re-register for the Traveling program as instructed by the BYHA Board.
All Season Waive-Up Requests must be submitted and acknowledged by the close of Traveling Registration.
The Registration "Winter Program Registrations" is not currently available.
All players and volunteers MUST register with USA HOCKEY prior to registering with BYHA. You will receive a USA Hockey Confirmation Number that will be required during the registration process.
